Global E&P firm with substantial physical assets are actively seeking a Senior LNG Trader as they build out their desk in London. The firm are actively expanding on their existing position in LNG, and have a substantial asset position in the Atlantic Basin, with additional assets coming on stream in the Pacific Basin. To help with their planned growth they are looking to build an international team to manage business development and spot trading of individual cargoes.
The company have a number of long-term SPAs with substantial flexibility, as well as long-term terminal access agreements. They are able to reload cargoes, and have equity in a number of liquefaction plants. They are looking to optimise this position and capture further market share, and as a result they are looking for someone with a track record in LNG Trading, and wider business development. There will be a developing team for this position, and we are also currently recruiting an analyst to support this hire. As this business area sits within the trading arm of the company, you will also have substantial support for more financially driven trades in addition to marketing of spot cargoes.
